Note: this pattern is sized to fit A4 paper (21 x 29.7 cm “portrait”) but will resize smoothly to print on other paper sizes. To print on other paper sizes, e.g., US Letter, select ‘Scale to Fit Paper’ in your printer’s preferences.  Sorry, we cannot help with printing problems.

When following this pattern for making a stained glass piece using copper foil, cut along the inside of the lines. In other words, all your cut pieces should fit inside the lines. This is because the copper foil itself will add a few millimetres to each piece.

You may make unlimited stained glass versions to sell as individual items at craft fairs or for fundraising, but mass commercial sales are prohibited. Resale of the pattern prohibited at all times.

This is a simple variation of the art deco roses made famous by the Scottish master, Charles Rennie Macintosh. We humbly call this pattern a “Mocintosh rose”.
